What a day! Thunderstorms didn’t put a damper on these two’s laugher. Some of the most meaningful weddings I’ve photographed take place right in someone’s backyard—just like this beautiful celebration in Walkerton.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, this couple chose simplicity, love, and a whole lot of joy. The ceremony unfolded under a beautiful gazebo, with handwritten vows, happy tears, and LOTS of laughter/ It was intimate and real, exactly what a wedding should be.
As a wedding photographer, I always tell couples that your day should reflect who you are. Whether you're getting married at a vineyard or in a loved one’s backyard, it’s the people and the moments that matter most.

The Millcroft Inn & Spa is a great wedding venue! I grew up here, and long before I began photography I’ve been hiking the grounds and exploring.
